Benjamin's class went on a field trip to the Firehouse, so we all went along for the fun.
The firemen showed us the firehouse so we could see what it is like for the firemen that stay there. After the tour, we watched the firemen as they explained about the three different types of hoses.
One fireman even put on the full suit so that the children could see what it looked like and know that they do not need to be afraid if a fireman has to come get them out of a fire. 
They explained to stay low in a fire. Also, to feel a door before you open it and if it is hot do not open it.
Benjamin loves tools. So, of course, his favorite part was seeing some of the tools they use like this saw. He also got to see tools they use to get doors open and to poke holes in roofs.
We had a nice time and got to take a family picture on the fire Engine at the end of the tour.
