Sometimes, I am so amazed at how these two children can love each other one minute and be fighting the next (even though I had siblings). It is just so different through the eyes of an adult, while looking at very young children. We have just been working so hard on being gentle and caring for each other and when it pays off it feels GREAT. The other day we were playing in the yard and Benjamin got hurt. I was hugging him while he cried and Jennie came up looking concerned. I told her she could hug him and it would make him feel better. She hugged him and then every time she thought about it she would hug him again for the rest of the afternoon.
