4th of July

This year we stayed at home and had a few people over to celebrate the 4th of July. Benjamin really enjoyed playing with his cousin Jacob.

I was glad that Jennie let me have my fun putting pretty 4th of July bows in her hair.


Jason got to relax after he finished the BBQ.

Jennie did not stay awake for fireworks and Benjamin did not like the noise. Benjamin did enjoyed watching the fireworks as long as he had his head phones on.

We took the kids to a small local zoo and they seemed to really like it, especially the train ride. You can probably tell that the ice cream was just overload.





In one attempt to keep the kids busy this summer, I let them play with shaving cream. They thought it was so great that they keep asking to do it everyday.
